Our Credentials and Other Stuff

Our founder, Teresa Jurgens-Kowal, earned a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Idahoin Moscow, Idaho and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.  Teresa was pleased to present Lifelong Learning after You Graduate as a part of the Department of Chemical Engineering’s Leadership Seminar Series.

She is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Louisiana since 1998.  Teresa is a certified New Product Development Professional (NPDP) by the Product Development Management Association (PDMA) and Global NP Solutions, LLC, is a Registered Education Provider (REP) with PDMA.

Teresa has an MBA from West Texas A&M University specializing in Computer and Information Decision Management and is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional) with the Project Management Institute (PMI).

She is also a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and serves as an active volunteer with AIChE and PDMA.

Teresa holds chemical process and catalyst patents, and is published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society and Journal of Physical Chemistry.  She is the current book review editor at the Journal of Product Innovation Management.

And, in her spare time, Teresa enjoys hiking, bicycling, gardening, and scrapbooking.
