Lessons Learned

The lessons learned review takes place after the new product has been introduced to the marketplace and after sufficient commercial experience has been gained to allow reasonable judgments concerning probable market receptivity and manufacturing/technology performance.  See also post-launch review.

In project management, the lessons learned review includes a reflective statement written by the project manager and team members to document important events and items from which they have learned during the implementation of the project.
