Application of tools and techniques with a team of people following a given process to define the goals and objectives of a project and to plan the work necessary to accomplish objectives. Project management (PM) includes leading the project and supporting teams, monitoring progress, and ensuring that the project is completed in such a way that it fully meets stated requirements at the required level of quality. A key aspect is to manage risk under the selected PM system based on the type of project and known uncertainties.
